Steering rack Construction and working principle

The full hydraulic steering gear is mainly composed of a follower rotary valve and a metering motor. The follow-up rotary valve includes: a spool 7 , a valve sleeve 6 , and a valve body 3 to control the direction of the oil flow. From the stator 13 , the rotor 9, the function of the metering motor is completed to ensure that the amount of oil discharged is proportional to the angle of rotation of the steering wheel. Rolling the steering wheel, when there is oil passing through the metering motor, through the rotor 9, the linkage shaft 8, the pulling pin 5, the running valve sleeve 6 and the valve core roll 7 in the same direction, the oil is sent to the pilot oil inlet and outlet of the flow expansion valve, and the control The main spool of the flow expansion valve is actuated, the amount of oil is enlarged, and then the steering rack is controlled.

When the follower valve is in the middle position (ie, the steering wheel does not move), the oil discharged from the pilot pump is returned to the fuel tank via the control oil line overflow valve.

When turning the steering wheel, the pilot pump supplies oil through the follow-up rotary valve to the metering motor. The propeller is synchronously rolled with the steering wheel, and the pilot oil is sent to one end of the flow expansion valve stem. The valve stem is actuated to complete the steering rack. The oil at the other end of the valve stem is returned to the oil tank through the follow-up rotary valve. When the steering wheel rotates faster, the pilot oil reaches the end of the valve rod of the flow expansion valve, and the displacement of the valve stem is increased, and the steering is faster.

The steering wheel is coupled with the valve core. When the steering wheel rolls, the spool rotates through a small point of view until the spring piece is pressed, and the valve sleeve rotates. At this time, the valve core and the valve sleeve are separated by a viewpoint to connect the oil passage. At the same time, the linkage shaft connected to the valve sleeve rolls together, and the rotation of the inner rotor of the stator moves the pilot oil which is a certain portion of the steering wheel angle to the flow expansion valve. The steering wheel stops rolling the spring piece so that the valve sleeve and the valve core return to the intermediate position, and the oil path is closed.
